Abstract:

Water Water deficit especially after heading is one of the most effective factors of wheat yield loss in Iran and across the world and identifying the physiological traits related to plant resilience is of great importance in screening for tolerant varieties. The objective of this study was to evaluate the variation in stem reserves accumulation capacity and its Relationship with remobilization in some wheat cultivars. 22 wheat cultivars were cultivated in a split plot design with three replications, full irrigation and 40% of field capacity being main plots. The amount of accumulation and remobilization was estimated by measuring internodes weight and stem soluble carbohydrates content (WSC). Significant genotypic variation among cultivars was observed under both normal and drought conditions. Maximum accumulation was found in lower internodes followed by peduncle and penultimate using dry weight measurement method. In WSC measurement method, however, maximum accumulation was observed in penultimate followed by lower internodes and peduncle. Cultivars ranking based on accumulation was also different in two methods. Drought stress caused decline in internodes weight, WSC and yield and remobilization efficiency. The specific stem weight had the highest correlation with remobilization. Significant correlation was found between grain yield and remobilization, specific stem weight and WSC.

The objective of the present study was to determine the patients' viewpoints about the Professional appearance of the dentists at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Dental School in 1395-96. Materials and Methods: In this descriptive cross-sectional study, 103 patients (54 females and 49 males) were studied. (α =0. 05 and standard variation=4. 5). The questionnaire were included color photographies of a female dentist and a male dentist dressed in different attires. The patients were asked to select the cleanest, and the most trustable, competent, and experienced dentist according to the 4 different attires. The frequencies and percentages of the participants’ answers to the questionaire were descriptively reported. Results: All patients preferred dentists to use white coat during their treatment. For the male dentists, most patients (45. 6%) favored simple hair model. For the female dentists, most patients (35. 9%) considered veil as the more acceptable Hejaband, and 54. 4% of them preferred light makeup. Abstract:

Purpose: Food security is a critical global challenge that is influenced by research and innovation in the field. Therefore, the objective of this study is to analyze the scientific output of developing countries in food security and examine its Relationship with patents and Gross Domestic Product (GDP).Methodology: This applied research utilized the Scientometric approach. A total of 8,416 papers published between 1992-2023 in the field of food security by developing countries were included in the study using citation databases from Clarivate Analytics. Additionally, patent registrations from the WIPO database and GDP data from the World Bank were analyzed. Information was collected through note-taking, and the data was analyzed using Pearson's correlation coefficient.Findings: The findings reveal an upward trend in the publication and citation of scientific outputs related to food security in developing countries. China has higher numbers of papers, patents, GDP, and food production index compared to Iran, Japan, and South Korea. There is also a positive correlation observed between population and the number of papers, gross production and the number of papers, food production and the number of published papers, as well as the number of patents and papers citing scientific outputs of countries. Conclusion: These results highlight the significant Relationship between increasing scientific output, GDP, the number of patents, and food security. Greater emphasis on food security contributes to enhanced scientific output, GDP, and innovation. Similarly, increasing scientific output, GDP, and innovation positively impact food security in countries.Value: This study emphasizes the importance of scientific outputs in driving technological advancements, innovations, and ultimately, ensuring food security in developing countries.

Abstract:

Introduction: One of the priorities of nursing education is to provide solutions to nurses’ questions so that they can remain in their career and render Professional services. Committed nurses work harder to improve their careers. Professional status can boost nurses’ confidence. Objective: To determine the Relationship between Professional status and Professional commitment in nurses working in hospitals of Kashmar City, Iran. Materials and Methods: This analytical cross-sectional study was performed on 230 nurses working in Kashmar City hospitals. They were selected by the census method in 2019. The data collection tools were the nursing Professional status questionnaire and the Clikeman and Henning Professional commitment questionnaire. The obtained data were analyzed with the Spearman, Kruskal-Wallis, and Mann-Whitney U statistical tests. Results: The Mean± SD age of the nurses was 31. 57± 6. 82 years (35. 5% men and 64. 5% women). Their Mean± SD score of Professional status was 44. 09± 6. 19, and their Mean± SD score of Professional commitment was 48. 04± 9. 42. The highest score of Professional status belonged to the self-confidence component. The Spearman correlation coefficient showed a significant Relationship between the dimensions of self-confidence, treatment team staff, and community in Professional status and Professional commitment of nurses (P<0. 05). Confidence was the most important predictor for Professional involvement in terms of Professional status dimensions (R2=0. 228). Conclusion: Health policymakers are advised to take the necessary steps and develop Professional status promotion programs and skills related to maintaining Professional commitment in nurses.

Abstract:

Background: Organizations are undeniable aspect of modern world and human force is the first and most important part of an organizational system. Professional ethics among other things are values that employees without them willingly or unwillingly can't do their jobs correctly and with productivity. This research intends to offer and explain the correlation between two variables of emotional intelligence and Professional ethics. Method: This research is a descriptive-correlation study. The statistical population of interest includes all of 3700 employees of "Shazand Petrochemical Company". We determine a sample size of 350 people by the use of Morgan sample size table. Data were gathered by standard questionnaires; emotional intelligence and Professional ethics. To determine normality or abnormality of variables distribution, we use Kolmogorov– Smirnov test. The findings of mentioned test indicate that variables distribution is abnormal. Therefore, we used Spearman's correlation coefficient. Results: Research findings show that there is a significant and positive correlation between emotional intelligence and Professional ethics. Also, there is a positive and significant correlation between components of emotional intelligence including: self-awareness, self-control, concord, social skills and self-motivation with Professional ethics of employees. Conclusion: Emotional intelligence has many advantages for organizations through self-management and managing others and causes employees' Professional ethics to improve. Therefore, an organization can benefit from emotional intelligence to improve employees' Professional ethics and promote their performance in organization.

In different professions nursing is one of the most important sources of occupational burnout. According to studies some characteristics such as psychological hardiness as stress reduction can prevent occupational burnout. Objective: This study aimed to determine the Relationship between psychological hardiness and occupational burnout in nurses. Methods: Present study is a correlational descriptive study conducted in 2011 in Shahid Ansari hospital in Rudsar. Study community consisted of 133 employed nurses working in nine nursing wards from which 100 of them were chosen using Morgan table who responded to Barton hardiness scale and Professional burnout questionnaires. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: Study Findings showed that the majority (40%) of samples were in range of 26-30 years old and most (58%) of them were females. Highest mean and standard deviation in personal accomplishment domain (44.17±8.65) was, in burnout variables and commitment domain (37.8±13.62) was psychological hardiness. Results of Pearson correlational test showed that challenge in hardiness domain was significantly related to all three domain of emotional exhaustion (p<0.01), personal accomplishment (p<0.05) and depersonalization (p<0.05) in occupational burnout. This test also indicated a significant Relationship between commitment and emotional exhaustion (p<0.01), personal accomplishment (p<0.05) and depersonalization (p<0.05) and also between control and hardiness with emotional exhaustion (p<0.01), personal accomplishment (p<0.05) and depersonalization (p<0.05).Conclusion: Study results showed a reverse Relationship between hardiness and occupational burnout of nurses which can be the guide of including hardiness in formal and informal nursing education so to decrease their susceptibility level in time of stress and control the burnout level.
